Laser Hair Removal

Lasers are a safe and effective way for a long-lasting, permanent result to hair removal. Treatments are effective on the face and body for both men and women. Treatments are fast, safe, and virtually pain-free and do not require anesthesia. Most patients feel nothing more than a slight sting like the snap of a rubber band. Following treatment, special care should be taken to avoid excess sun exposure. Clients should also refrain from waxing or tweezing while receiving laser treatments.

The growth of the hair cycle is staggered, which means some hairs are actively growing while others remain dormant. Because of this, laser hair removal will require multiple treatments to catch each hair as it enters the “active” growth phase. The exact number of treatments necessary will vary for everyone. The color and thickness of your hair, area treated, and color of your skin will also be a factor in how many treatments are needed. Most patients need 2 to 6 laser treatments for the best results.
